A Modelling Framework for Human Resource based Business

The framework intends to better adapt the business processes
to the human actors by explicitly taking into account concepts like role,
competence and knowledge of the human resource. The paper, originally presented
at the SCM’2002 at Miedzyzdroje, Poland, 2002-10-23/25 , has been extended
in the preparation for publication. A new Chapter on the classification
and implementation of roles, competences and knowledge concepts has been
added which provides further details on the proposed classes of roles and
competences or skills.
Those details identify sub-roles for the different classes.
For the role classes:
For the competences or skills classes, identified as needed
Interpersonal roles: act as Symbol, establish Connections,
act as Leader.
Informational roles act as: Monitor, Diffuser, Spokesman.
Decisional roles act as: Contractor, Regulator, Resources
Operational roles act as: Expert, Technical Bond,, Operator.
Ten tables have been identified to allow the user to describe
the processes and their decision activities according to the defined concepts.
Four experiments are currently in progress evaluating the proposed concepts.
